Suggestions for May half term?
My personal blog - initially started in 2008 to describe my experience following Stephen Cottrell’s book ‘Do nothing for Christmas - an Advent Calendar with a difference’ I repeated this in Advent, 2011.
It’s Advent again so I’m going to try to do another Advent Calendar with a difference - what is the meaning of Christmas. No particular theme, just an eclectic mix of thoughts and ideas - from me and, I hope, from my friends

Lovely idea David, but do you think we're ready for that?! Perhaps Skittles down the aisle would be more appropriate for a first step!
Hey great idea - but I'm thinking BMX bikes would be better! Great photography though and a fab way to engage young children.

I think space would be a issue for skating or BMX. We could try the Oldham Hall - but the new floor would probably suffer. What other activities would attract more visitors? What is the Cream Teas for the next generation?
I guess and I'm saddened to say, probably a Wii fit would go down very well and wouldn't require much space.
We could challenge the youth group to a competition (friendly!)
I think food will always attract people - cream teas will live on, I'm sure!
Thats dangerous talk Helen! I'm pretty sure the Youth group would conclusive beat all comers to a Wii competition!
You're probably right, but let's do it? - I'm sure I could get my hands on the one from the Sport Development Team at work? It would be fun......?
